American Girl Outfits

We interrupt the regularly scheduled (okay not regular or scheduled) painting posts to post some doll clothes pictures.

I promised some friends that I would post the clothes here so I wouldn't be sending one giant picture laden mass email. If you're interested in any of these, please email me at katdishrich@gmail.com

My mom made all of the outfits shown here. My daughter has MANY outfits and I can attest to the fact that they are beautifully made with amazing attention to detail.

And now for the doll clothes...

Okay, it's just wrong that those doll clothes look nicer than any clothes I wear...

WOW! Those were amazing. Has she ever done Build-A-Bear clothes? We'd be all up in those.

And the beauty of the clothes can ALMOST make me overlook the human-hair pincushion.

ALMOST.

Wow! Your mom does amazing work. I guess I know now where you get your artistic talent. Yes, it's a different artistry, but still...

So sweet.

My eldest girl just made a miniature doll for her sister for Christmas, complete with all kinds of casual and designer clothes. Maybe I'll post. You've inspired. :)

Hey, Katdish! I see your name on some other blogs I visit and just dropped by to say hello. Your latest post is so gracious and generous. I'll have to go visit the lady you mentioned. In the meanwhile, I don't gush and gosh over fashion, but the doll clothes are really cute. You make them? I have a friend who graduated recently from the New York Fashion Institute. Her husband is an international model and they jet all over the place. But I'm going to try to forward them to her. She's a neat lady, and who knows? I don't know if she's interested in kiddie or doll stuff, but chances are I won't find out unless I ask. I'll let you know if I hear anything. donkimrey
